About the Rotary Club of Oromocto
Since 1985, the Rotary Club of Oromocto has been bringing together people who care about making our community stronger.
Our members come from many different backgrounds, professions, and life experiences, but we share one common belief:
Service Above Self.
Rotary isn’t simply about fundraising.
It’s about building friendships, developing leaders, and creating lasting positive change.
Whether we’re supporting a local family, helping a community organization, or contributing to an international humanitarian project, we believe ordinary people can accomplish extraordinary things when they work together.
What Is Rotary?
Rotary is one of the world’s largest service organizations, with more than 1.4 million members in over 200 countries and geographic regions.
Rotarians are neighbours, teachers, business owners, healthcare professionals, military members, retirees, tradespeople, students, and community leaders.
Every Rotary club is unique.
Every Rotary club serves its community.
Together, Rotary members create lasting change locally and around the world.

The Four-Way Test
For nearly a century, Rotarians have used four simple questions to guide ethical decision-making.
Of the things we think, say, or do:
- Is it the Truth?
- Is it Fair to all concerned?
- Will it build Goodwill and Better Friendships?
- Will it be Beneficial to all concerned?
Our Meetings
We meet every second Monday beginning at 5:30 PM.
A typical evening includes:
- Dinner
- Fellowship
- Guest speakers
- Community discussions
- Club updates
- Plenty of laughter
Meetings usually finish around 7:00 PM.
Rotary Around the World
When you join Rotary in Oromocto, you also become part of a worldwide network.
Members can visit Rotary clubs while travelling, participate in international service projects, attend leadership conferences, and build friendships that span the globe.
